Manchester City have left out young defender Vitor Hess from their Champions League squad for the second half of the season, while Rodri is included.

City are allowed to register three more players for the second half of the season. But they made four signings in the January transfer window and

eventually signed Omar Marmouch, แทงบอล UFABET ราคาดีที่สุด ไม่มีขั้นต่ำ Nico Gonzalez and Abdukodir Kusanov.

That means Hess will be on the bench as City face Real Madrid in the play-offs. And should they qualify, in the knockout stages.

It’s no surprise, though, as Hess has yet to make a senior appearance for City since joining and the club want to give him time to adapt to European football.

Kusanov has already made his debut and Marmouch has started two Premier League games. While Gonzalez only joined from Porto on deadline day.

The new bracket format meant each team could only be drawn against one of two possible opponents based on the final standings in the league phase, with City and Celtic already knowing that either Real or Bayern awaited them.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Aston Villa are already through to the last 16 courtesy of a top-eight finish. They will discover their opponents in the next draw on February 21.

The first legs will take place on February 11 and 12, with the return matches on February 18 and 19.

Rodri is also on the list, although he could return from injury. The “Blue Ship” is out for the rest of the season.
